• Kebbi to establish 1,000 pastoralists’ settlements

Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state, on Tuesday, said the state government was making arrangements to establish 1,000 settlements for pastoralists to curtail the recurring clash between farmers and herdsmen. The governor made the disclosure while presenting the N151 billion 2018 proposed budget to the state’s  House of Assembly in Birnin Kebbi. He said the settlements would be provided with water, animal feed, land and other amenities.
